Job Overview

The Quality Data Analyst will be responsible for examining, validating, and interpreting complex datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for quality enhancement. This role requires a strong understanding of data management principles and a keen eye for detail to ensure the reliability and accuracy of information supporting WDCL’s diverse business operations in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data quality standards and procedures.
  • Perform regular data audits and integrity checks.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies and errors.
  • Analyze data to identify patterns, trends, and potential quality issues.
  • Create reports and visualizations to communicate data quality findings.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Support the development and maintenance of data quality tools and systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role with a focus on data quality.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and statistical software (e.g., SQL, Excel, Python, R).
  • Strong understanding of database structures and data warehousing concepts.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience in the IT, Telecommunications, or Engineering sectors is a plus.
