Job Overview

The Quality Auditor and Vendor Expeditor will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of goods and services procured by WDCL and the timely delivery of these items from our vendors. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and upholding WDCL’s commitment to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough quality audits of incoming goods and services to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Monitor vendor performance, delivery schedules, and production progress to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors to resolve any issues, delays, or quality discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of audit findings, vendor performance, and expediting activities.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand quality requirements and delivery timelines.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement in quality assurance and vendor management.
  • Facilitate smooth logistical operations for procured items.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in quality auditing and vendor management.
  • Strong understanding of quality control principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in relevant software for record-keeping and communication.
  • Attention to detail and a meticulous approach to tasks.
  • Familiarity with the IT, Telecommunications, Mechanical, or Electrical/Electronic Engineering sectors is an advantage.
