Job Overview

The Fleet Officer will be responsible for the efficient management and maintenance of Fort Knox Group’s vehicle fleet, ensuring operational readiness, safety, and cost-effectiveness across all deployed assets within Nigeria. This role is critical to supporting our extensive security and financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company’s vehicle fleet.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Manage vehicle registration, insurance, and licensing requirements.
• Coordinate repairs and servicing with authorized vendors.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant traffic laws and company safety policies.
• Maintain accurate records of fleet mileage, fuel consumption, and expenses.
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and security.
• Manage driver schedules and assignments for operational efficiency.
• Investigate and report on any accidents or incidents involving company vehicles.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Fleet Officer or in a similar logistics/operations management role.
• Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures.
• Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Proficiency in relevant fleet management software is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Familiarity with Nigerian traffic regulations and road conditions.
