Job Overview

The Content Creator & Videographer will be instrumental in developing and executing MELIAH Nail Experience’s digital content strategy. This role requires a keen eye for aesthetics, exceptional storytelling abilities, and proficiency in video production and editing. You will be responsible for creating engaging visual content across various platforms, showcasing our luxurious services, talented nail technicians, and the overall MELIAH brand experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, shoot, and edit high-quality video content including promotional videos, client testimonials, behind-the-scenes glimpses, and tutorial-style content.
• Develop and execute a content calendar aligned with marketing objectives and brand aesthetic.
• Create visually appealing still photography for social media, website, and promotional materials.
• Edit and retouch images to ensure brand consistency and high visual standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging social media platforms to identify new content opportunities.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative briefs and ensure content meets brand guidelines.
• Manage and organize digital assets, ensuring proper naming conventions and storage.
• Engage with our online community by responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Content Creator and/or Videographer, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work.
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).
• Excellent understanding of social media platforms and their respective content requirements (Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
• Strong visual storytelling and creative conceptualization skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with lighting, composition, and sound recording techniques.
• A passion for beauty, fashion, and luxury brands is a distinct advantage.
• Based in Lagos, Nigeria.
