Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (M.E.A.L.) Officer

Elim Centre for Vocational Training and Community Development (CVTC) is a Christian non-governmental organization committed to improving the lives of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) through comprehensive health, education, livelihood, and empowerment interventions. Based in Oju Local Government Area of Benue State, we partner with numerous national and international donors to deliver sustainable development solutions. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented M.E.A.L. Officer to strengthen our organizational effectiveness and ensure accountability to all stakeholders.

Job Overview

The M.E.A.L. Officer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive monitoring, evaluation, and learning systems across all organizational programs. This role ensures data-driven decision-making, donor compliance, and continuous organizational improvement through systematic evidence collection and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement M.E.A.L frameworks aligned with organizational and donor requirements
• Design and manage monitoring tools, surveys, and data collection methodologies
• Conduct regular program evaluations and impact assessments
• Analyze data and produce comprehensive evaluation reports
• Ensure organizational accountability and transparency to stakeholders
• Facilitate learning sessions and knowledge management activities
• Coordinate with program teams on data quality assurance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Social Sciences, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of M.E.A.L. experience in NGO/development sector
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with disability-focused programs preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
