The Alliance for International Medical Action (ALIMA) is seeking a dedicated Nurse to join our team at the Intensive Therapeutic Feeding Program (ITFC) and Inpatient Pediatric Department (IPD) in Lima, Peru. Job Overview

This position involves providing essential nursing care to patients admitted to the ITFC and IPD units, ensuring adherence to ALIMA’s medical protocols and international standards. The Nurse will play a vital role in patient management, treatment delivery, and support for vulnerable populations.

Key Responsibilities

• Administering therapeutic feeding and medical treatments according to established protocols.
• Monitoring patient vital signs, nutritional status, and overall well-being.
• Educating patients and caregivers on treatment plans and health management.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participating in health assessments and identifying patients requiring specialized intervention.
• Ensuring the proper management of medical supplies and equipment.
• Adhering to infection prevention and control measures.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse qualification with valid professional license.
• Previous experience in pediatric care, nutrition, or emergency settings is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Spanish is essential; knowledge of Quechua is a plus.
