Job Overview

Coleman Technical Industries Limited is looking for an experienced and proactive HSE Officer to ensure the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental practices across our operations in Nigeria. The successful candidate will play a critical role in promoting a safe working environment, minimizing risks, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, recommending and implementing corrective actions.
• Deliver HSE training and awareness programs to employees.
• Ensure compliance with all local and international HSE regulations and standards.
• Maintain accurate HSE records and prepare reports for management.
• Promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety).
• Proven experience as an HSE Officer, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of HSE legislation and best practices in Nigeria.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
