Job Overview

The Junior Legal Officer will provide comprehensive legal support to the organization, ensuring compliance with Nigerian petroleum regulations and contractual obligations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in Oil and Gas law while contributing to the company’s continued success.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and analyze legal documents and contracts
• Monitor regulatory compliance with petroleum industry standards
• Support litigation and dispute resolution proceedings
• Conduct legal research on industry-specific matters
• Maintain legal documentation and case files
• Assist in contract negotiations and due diligence

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law from an accredited institution
• Membership of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and research abilities
• Knowledge of Nigerian petroleum law preferred
