Green Africa is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead, Reward and Compliance to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. As we revolutionize air travel in Nigeria and across West Africa, this role is pivotal in ensuring our compensation and benefits are competitive, fair, and compliant with all relevant regulations, while fostering a culture of ethical conduct. You will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing robust reward strategies and compliance frameworks that support our ambitious growth and operational excellence.

Job Overview

The Lead, Reward and Compliance will be responsible for the strategic direction and operational execution of Green Africa’s compensation and benefits programs, alongside overseeing and ensuring adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements related to HR practices within Nigeria. This individual will be a key player in attracting, retaining, and motivating our diverse workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement competitive and equitable compensation and benefits strategies.
  • Ensure all reward programs align with market trends and organizational objectives.
  • Oversee the administration of payroll, pensions, and other employee benefits.
  • Monitor and interpret relevant employment laws and regulations in Nigeria.
  • Establish and maintain robust compliance procedures and policies for HR operations.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Advise leadership on reward-related matters and compliance risks.
  • Manage relationships with external benefit providers and regulatory bodies.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in reward management and HR compliance, preferably within the aviation or a similarly regulated industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of Nigerian labor law and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience with HRIS and payroll systems.
