Job Overview

The Videographer will be responsible for conceptualizing, shooting, editing, and delivering high-quality video content that effectively communicates the Ike Foundation for Autism’s mission, programs, and impact. This role requires creativity, technical proficiency, and a strong understanding of visual storytelling to engage diverse audiences and advocate for the autism community in Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and develop video content ideas aligned with the Foundation’s strategic goals.
  • Shoot high-quality video footage for various projects, including interviews, event coverage, and program highlights.
  • Edit raw footage into compelling narratives, incorporating graphics, music, and voiceovers as needed.
  • Ensure all video content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a professional and sensitive tone.
  • Collaborate with program managers and communications teams to understand project requirements and target audiences.
  • Manage video equipment and ensure its proper maintenance and functionality.
  • Distribute final video assets across relevant platforms, including social media, website, and presentations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Videographer or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
  • Strong understanding of camera operation, lighting, and sound recording techniques.
  • Excellent storytelling and visual communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • A portfolio showcasing previous video work is required.
