Job Overview

The Assistant General Service Officer / Maintenance Officer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of Agricare Std Plus Limited’s facilities, equipment, and overall infrastructure. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of maintenance procedures and a commitment to maintaining a safe and functional working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and conduct routine maintenance and repairs on company vehicles, machinery, and building systems.
• Manage and maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
• Assist in the planning and execution of facility improvement projects.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and expenditures.

Requirements

• Minimum of a National Diploma (OND) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in general maintenance, facility management, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
• Good understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of agro-allied equipment maintenance is an advantage.
