Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Lead Data Platform Engineer to spearhead the evolution of INFOnline’s data infrastructure. You will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining the core components that enable our sophisticated audience measurement solutions, working with large-scale, high-velocity data streams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of our cloud-based data platform architecture.
• Drive architectural decisions and ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of our data pipelines and storage solutions.
• Mentor and guide a team of talented data engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.
• Implement and optimize ETL/ELT processes to ingest, transform, and manage vast datasets.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand data needs and deliver robust data solutions.
• Champion best practices in data governance, security, and quality assurance.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance our data platform capabilities.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a lead or senior role within data engineering or platform engineering.
• Deep understanding of cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and their associated services.
• Expertise in distributed data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Flink).
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Scala, or Java.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code is a plus.
