Job Overview
The Regulatory Pharmacist will be instrumental in ensuring MHL’s pharmaceutical products and operations adhere to all relevant national and international regulatory requirements. This role demands a deep understanding of pharmaceutical legislation and a proactive approach to maintaining compliance and fostering a culture of regulatory excellence within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of pharmaceutical regulatory affairs in Nigeria.
- Ensure compliance with National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) regulations and other relevant authorities.
- Prepare, submit, and follow up on product registration dossiers and license applications.
- Monitor and interpret changes in regulatory legislation and advise the company accordingly.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, providing necessary information and responding to queries.
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to regulatory compliance.
- Conduct internal audits and assessments to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
- Manage post-market surveillance activities and adverse event reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from a recognized institution.
- Current registration with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical regulatory affairs in Nigeria.
- In-depth knowledge of NAFDAC guidelines and pharmaceutical regulations.
- Proven track record in product registration and regulatory submissions.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
