The Leprosy Mission Nigeria (TLMN) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Public Private Mix (PPM) Cascade Coordinator to strengthen our programmatic efforts in addressing leprosy and its associated challenges. Job Overview
The PPM Cascade Coordinator will be responsible for the effective planning, implementation, and monitoring of Public Private Mix strategies within Leprosy Mission Nigeria’s programs. This role focuses on building and maintaining robust relationships with government health facilities and other private sector stakeholders to improve case detection, diagnosis, and treatment of leprosy, and to support individuals with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and facilitate the implementation of PPM strategies and activities across designated project areas.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with government health agencies, district health offices, and healthcare providers.
- Organize and conduct training sessions and capacity building activities for healthcare workers involved in PPM initiatives.
- Monitor the progress of PPM activities, collect relevant data, and provide regular reports on performance indicators.
- Identify challenges and bottlenecks in the PPM cascade and propose solutions for improvement.
- Facilitate referral mechanisms between government health facilities and TLMN services for comprehensive patient care.
- Ensure adherence to national guidelines and protocols for leprosy management within PPM frameworks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Sciences, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Proven experience in program coordination, preferably in public health or a related sector.
- Demonstrated understanding of health systems and public-private partnerships.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Familiarity with the Nigerian health sector and leprosy control programs is an advantage.
