Job Overview

The Stores Officer will be responsible for the effective management and control of the airline’s inventory of parts and materials. This includes receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and accounting for all items within the stores, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record all incoming inventory items.
• Organize and maintain accurate stock records in the inventory management system.
• Issue parts and materials to authorized personnel, ensuring proper documentation.
• Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Implement and adhere to strict inventory control procedures.
• Manage the storage of materials to optimize space and prevent damage.
• Ensure compliance with safety and security regulations within the stores area.
• Prepare reports on stock levels, issues, and discrepancies.

Requirements

• Minimum of a National Diploma (OND) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a stores or inventory management role, preferably within the aviation industry.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of inventory control principles and best practices.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
