Job Overview

The Cashier will be responsible for managing all monetary transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing exceptional customer service to patients and visitors. Key Responsibilities

• Process patient payments, insurance claims, and cash transactions accurately
• Reconcile daily cash registers and prepare financial reports
• Maintain confidentiality of patient financial information
• Provide courteous assistance to patients during payment procedures
• Monitor hospital billing procedures and flag discrepancies
• Handle multiple payment methods including cash, cards, and electronic transfers

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven cashiering experience in healthcare settings preferred
• Strong numerical and organizational skills
• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and Microsoft Office
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
