Job Overview

The Human Resource Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that align with Vastovers Group’s overall business objectives. This role will oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with labor laws and fostering a positive organizational culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive HR strategies across recruitment, compensation, benefits, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Oversee the recruitment and selection process, ensuring the attraction of top talent.
  • Manage employee onboarding, training, and development programs.
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and fairness.
  • Foster positive employee relations and manage conflict resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant Nigerian labor laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within the pharmaceutical or distribution sector in Nigeria.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies.
  • Strong understanding of Nigerian labor law and employment practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • CIPM certification is an advantage.
