Job Overview

The Director Analyst-Direct Spend Procurement Technology will be responsible for developing and delivering high-impact research and advisory services focused on the technologies that underpin direct spend procurement processes. You will engage with IT and procurement leaders, providing expert analysis and strategic recommendations on solutions such as source-to-pay, spend analytics, and supplier management.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth market research and analysis of direct spend procurement technology trends, vendors, and best practices.
• Develop and publish compelling research reports, articles, and presentations for a global client base.
• Provide expert advisory services to clients, assisting them with technology selection, implementation, and optimization.
• Act as a thought leader, speaking at industry conferences and engaging with the media.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, including technology vendors and clients.
• Mentor and guide junior analysts within the procurement technology domain.

Requirements

• Proven experience in direct spend procurement, with a deep understanding of relevant technologies.
• Extensive knowledge of procurement software solutions (e.g., S2P, SRM, Spend Analytics, ERP modules).
• Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation abilities.
• Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Experience in technology research, consulting, or a vendor-side product management role is highly desirable.
