Job Overview

The HR Compliance Manager will be instrumental in ensuring Brit Cleanway Property adheres to all relevant labor laws and regulations within Nigeria. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of HR best practices and compliance frameworks to mitigate risks and foster a fair and equitable work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures in line with Nigerian labor laws and industry best practices.
  • Conduct regular audits of HR practices to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
  • Advise management on employee relations, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of employment contracts, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
  • Stay abreast of changes in labor legislation and update policies accordingly.
  • Handle investigations into employee complaints and disputes, ensuring fair and timely resolution.
  • Oversee the administration of employee benefits and ensure compliance with statutory obligations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management with a strong focus on compliance in Nigeria.
  • In-depth knowledge of Nigerian labor laws, employment regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Excellent understanding of employee relations, disciplinary procedures, and conflict resolution.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
