Job Overview

The Driver will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company vehicles, ensuring timely and secure delivery and collection of goods and personnel. This role is integral to maintaining our operational flow and upholding HMD Nigeria’s commitment to reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate company vehicles, including trucks and vans, in a safe and professional manner.
  • Transport machinery, equipment, and personnel to various project sites and locations.
  • Ensure all deliveries and pickups are completed within specified timelines.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and report any mechanical issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery records.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations.

    • Requirements

  • Valid Nigerian driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience as a commercial driver, preferably with heavy machinery or logistics.
  • Knowledge of Nigerian road networks and traffic regulations.
  • Ability to operate different types of vehicles.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
