Job Overview

The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of The Paradigm Group in Nigeria. This includes financial planning, budgeting, risk management, and ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities and a proven track record in financial management within a corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Oversee accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Conduct financial analysis, variance analysis, and provide insights to senior management.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal financial controls.
  • Manage cash flow, optimize working capital, and ensure liquidity.
  • Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial management.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong understanding of Nigerian financial regulations and tax laws.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities.
