Job Overview
The Store Officer will be responsible for the efficient management and control of all hotel stores, ensuring adequate stock levels, accurate record-keeping, and adherence to procurement policies. This role is crucial in maintaining the smooth operation of the hotel by ensuring all departments have timely access to necessary supplies.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and accurately record all incoming goods.
Organize and maintain store inventory for easy access and stock rotation.
Process store requisitions from various departments.
Conduct regular stocktakes and reconcile discrepancies.
Monitor stock levels and report low stock items to management.
Ensure adherence to storage guidelines for perishable and non-perishable items.
Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification is a plus.
Proven experience as a Store Officer or in a similar inventory management role.
Proficiency in inventory management software or systems.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
