Job Overview

The Video Editor will be responsible for the end-to-end post-production process of video content, from raw footage to final delivery. This role requires a creative eye, technical proficiency, and a strong understanding of storytelling to produce compelling and informative videos that align with One Acre Fund’s brand and mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging content, including documentaries, testimonials, and promotional materials.
  • Incorporate graphics, music, sound effects, and other visual elements to enhance storytelling.
  • Ensure video content is optimized for various platforms, including web, social media, and internal communications.
  • Collaborate with the communications team to understand project objectives and creative briefs.
  • Manage video assets and maintain a well-organized digital library.

    • Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse editing styles.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
  • Familiarity with motion graphics and animation software (e.g., After Effects) is a plus.
  • Excellent understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and narrative structure.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
