Job Overview

The Technical Design Officer will be instrumental in the conceptualization, development, and refinement of Proforce’s innovative armoured vehicle designs and personal protection systems. This role demands a creative thinker with a strong engineering foundation, capable of translating complex requirements into functional and reliable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refine technical designs for armoured vehicles and personal protection equipment.
• Create detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
• Conduct research into new materials, technologies, and design methodologies.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation for design reviews and project milestones.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in technical design, preferably within the automotive or defence sector.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).
• Strong understanding of materials science and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
