Job Overview

The Application Security Engineering Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies for our AI video platform. You will lead a team of dedicated security engineers, fostering a culture of security awareness and excellence across the organization. This role demands a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of application security principles and a proven track record of managing security programs in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of application security engineers.
• Develop and execute a robust application security roadmap.
• Oversee security architecture reviews and threat modeling for new features and services.
• Implement and manage security testing methodologies, including SAST, DAST, and IAST.
• Drive the integration of security into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Respond to and manage security incidents effectively.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure coding practices.
• Stay abreast of emerging security threats and vulnerabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 5+ years of experience in application security engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in a leadership or management role.
• In-depth knowledge of common web vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10) and mitigation strategies.
• Experience with security testing tools and frameworks.
• Strong understanding of secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC).
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
