Job Overview
The Legal Officer will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal counsel and support to Sidmach Technologies Nigeria Limited, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. This role is crucial in safeguarding the company’s interests and facilitating its business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of commercial, corporate, and contractual matters.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions.
Ensure compliance with Nigerian corporate law, intellectual property law, and other relevant legislation.
Manage and resolve legal disputes and litigation.
Advise on risk management and mitigation strategies.
Liaise with external counsel and regulatory bodies as required.
Requirements
Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from a reputable institution.
Called to the Nigerian Bar (BL).
Minimum of 3 years of post-call experience in a corporate legal setting.
Strong understanding of Nigerian corporate and commercial law.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
Proficiency in legal research and analysis.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
