Job Overview

The Field Engineer will be instrumental in ensuring the successful installation and commissioning of elevator systems at client sites across Ghana and Togo. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a strong technical background in elevator mechanics and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and commission various types of elevator systems according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
  • Conduct pre-installation checks and site assessments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation and commissioning phases.
  • Perform quality control inspections and ensure all work meets industry benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians.
  • Maintain accurate installation and commissioning reports.

    • Requirements

  • Proven experience in elevator installation and commissioning.
  • Strong understanding of elevator mechanics, electrical systems, and control systems.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel within Ghana and Togo.
  • Relevant technical certifications are a plus.
