Job Overview

The Project Engineer at ADS will play a crucial role in the planning, execution, and successful delivery of subsea projects. This position requires a proactive individual with strong technical expertise, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to safety and quality standards within the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the technical aspects of subsea projects from conception to completion.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with project managers.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, industry standards, and Nigerian Content requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and project closure deliverables.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Petroleum, or related field).
  • Proven experience as a Project Engineer, preferably in the subsea or oil and gas sector.
  • Strong understanding of subsea operations and equipment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software.
  • Knowledge of Nigerian Content Legislation is highly desirable.
