We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Legal & Compliance Manager to join our growing team in Nigeria.

Job Overview

The Legal & Compliance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all legal and regulatory matters at InfraCredit, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and internal policies. This role is crucial in safeguarding the company’s integrity, managing risk, and facilitating its mission to catalyze infrastructure investment in Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert legal counsel on corporate governance, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and implement robust compliance frameworks and policies.
  • Monitor changes in relevant legislation and advise on their impact.
  • Manage legal aspects of transactions, including debt issuances and guarantee agreements.
  • Oversee litigation and dispute resolution processes.
  • Ensure adherence to anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) regulations.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from a recognized institution.
  • Master’s degree or relevant professional qualification is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ post-qualification experience in corporate law and compliance.
  • Proven experience within the financial services or infrastructure sector in Nigeria.
  • Strong understanding of Nigerian corporate and financial regulatory landscape.
  • Excellent analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills.
