Job Overview

The Account Officer will be instrumental in managing the financial operations of Rainbow Educational Services Limited, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices within the Nigerian context.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable efficiently.
  • Assist with budget preparation and monitoring.
  • Prepare financial statements and reports.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations.
  • Support internal and external audits.

    • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
