Job Overview
Gilbert Igweka Global Concept Nigeria Limited is seeking a meticulous and proactive Accounts Payable Officer to join our finance department. This role is critical in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of all vendor invoices and payments, contributing to the financial integrity of our operations and supporting our growth as architects of progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Verify and reconcile invoices against purchase orders and receiving reports.
- Prepare and process payments to vendors.
- Maintain vendor records and manage vendor relationships.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in month-end closing procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in accounts payable.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
