Alkami is seeking a strategic and analytical Director, Go-to-Market Financial Planning & Analysis to join our dynamic team in Dallas, USA. As the leading digital sales and service platform provider for U.S. banks and credit unions, Alkami empowers financial institutions with technology that drives action. This role is critical in shaping our Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy by providing robust financial insights and planning to support our ambitious growth objectives.

Job Overview

The Director, GTM FP&A will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive financial plans, forecasts, and analyses for Alkami’s Go-to-Market functions. This individual will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success leadership to drive revenue growth, optimize GTM investments, and ensure financial discipline across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of annual operating plans and quarterly forecasts for GTM teams, aligning financial projections with strategic objectives.
  • Analyze GTM performance metrics, identifying key drivers of revenue, customer acquisition cost, and customer lifetime value.
  • Develop sophisticated financial models to support strategic decision-making, including pricing strategies, new market entry, and partnership evaluations.
  • Provide insightful variance analysis and actionable recommendations to GTM leadership to improve financial performance and ROI.
  • Partner with the Sales Operations team to enhance sales forecasting accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to measure campaign effectiveness and optimize marketing spend.
  • Contribute to the development of GTM compensation plans and incentive structures.
  • Prepare executive-level financial presentations and reports for senior management and the Board of Directors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, with a strong focus on Go-to-Market functions.
  • Proven experience in SaaS or technology-driven businesses.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with CRM and financial systems (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, Anaplan).
  • Master’s degree or CPA/CMA certification is a plus.
