Job Overview

The Regional Head of Operations will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operational efficiency and effectiveness across designated regions of Fina Trust Microfinance Bank in Nigeria. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of microfinance operations and a proven ability to lead teams and drive performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations within the assigned regions, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and mentor regional operational teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal controls.
  • Drive efficiency improvements and cost management initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in microfinance or banking operations.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong understanding of operational best practices in the Nigerian financial sector.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant banking software and technology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
