This role is crucial to ensuring the seamless operation and efficiency of our extensive fleet.

Job Overview

The Fleet Officer will be responsible for the comprehensive management and administration of Coollink’s vehicle fleet, ensuring optimal utilization, maintenance, and compliance. This role demands meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to operational challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily fleet operations, including vehicle allocation, scheduling, and dispatch.
  • Manage vehicle maintenance schedules, coordinating repairs and servicing to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure all vehicles are properly registered, insured, and comply with Nigerian traffic laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of fuel consumption, mileage, and maintenance expenses.
  • Liaise with external vendors for repairs, parts, and other fleet-related services.
  • Implement and enforce fleet safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety.
  • Generate reports on fleet performance, costs, and utilization.
  • Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Fleet Officer or in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of fleet management best practices and Nigerian transportation regulations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in using fleet management software and standard office applications.
  • A valid driver’s license.
