Job Overview

The Skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist will be responsible for performing a wide range of laboratory tests and analyses, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in diagnostic procedures. This role is crucial in supporting clinical decision-making and patient care within our specialized hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct various laboratory tests, including haematology, microbiology, clinical chemistry, and serology.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of test results.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper calibration and quality control.
  • Adhere to all laboratory safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new laboratory procedures.

    • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
  • Proven experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist.
  • Proficiency in various laboratory techniques and instrumentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
