Job Overview

SaidGig is seeking a skilled Attorney to provide expert legal counsel on complex energy regulatory matters. This remote contract position will involve in-depth work on a variety of energy projects, requiring a strong understanding of federal and regional regulatory frameworks. East Coast U.S. candidates are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise on compliance with FERC regulations and PJM interconnection requirements.
  • Conduct site control reviews for energy development projects.
  • Manage and facilitate energy permitting processes.
  • Provide legal support for utility matters and generator interconnections.
  • Draft and review regulatory filings and agreements.
  • Analyze evolving energy infrastructure legal landscapes.

    • Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the bar in at least one U.S. state.
  • Demonstrated experience with FERC regulations and PJM.
  • Proficiency in energy permitting and site control review.
  • Experience with utility matters or generator interconnection agreements.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
