Job Overview

The Business Relationship Officer will be instrumental in cultivating and strengthening relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met while promoting UP®’s comprehensive suite of payment solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of the financial technology landscape in Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage strong, long-term relationships with a portfolio of corporate clients.
  • Identify client needs and proactively propose relevant UP® products and services.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, issues, and escalations.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and drive adoption of UP® solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, account management, or a similar client-facing role within the financial services or technology sector.
  • Strong understanding of payment systems and financial technology trends in Nigeria.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze client needs and provide tailored solutions.
