IpNX Nigeria Limited, a pioneer in infrastructure-based Telecommunications and Information Technology services in Nigeria, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) to lead our innovative entry into the mobile virtual network space. Building on our extensive experience and robust IP-based communications network, this pivotal role will drive the strategy, development, and execution of our MVNO operations, shaping the future of mobile connectivity for Nigerian consumers and businesses.
Job Overview
The Head MVNO will be responsible for establishing and managing IpNX’s MVNO business, from strategic planning and licensing to service deployment and ongoing operations. This leadership position requires a deep understanding of the mobile telecommunications landscape, regulatory requirements, and a proven ability to build and scale a new venture within a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the comprehensive MVNO strategy, including business models, market positioning, and growth plans.
Oversee the acquisition and management of essential wholesale agreements with Mobile Network Operators (MNOs).
Lead the regulatory and licensing process for MVNO operations in Nigeria.
Drive the development and launch of compelling mobile service offerings tailored to the Nigerian market.
Manage the operational aspects of the MVNO, including network integration, service provisioning, and customer support.
Build and lead a high-performing MVNO team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements to ensure competitive advantage.
Develop and manage the MVNO budget, ensuring financial performance and profitability.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, with a significant focus on mobile network operations or MVNO management.
Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, business development, and market entry.
In-depth understanding of mobile network architecture, service platforms, and wholesale agreements.
Proven track record of successfully launching and managing new products or services in the telecommunications sector.
Strong understanding of the Nigerian telecommunications regulatory framework.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong financial acumen and budget management experience.
