Job Overview

As our Digital Editor, you will be instrumental in transforming raw footage and audio into compelling digital narratives. You will oversee the entire post-production process, ensuring that all visual and audio elements align with our brand standards and project objectives. This role demands a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of storytelling through editing, and proficiency with industry-standard editing software. We are looking for an individual who can work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and contribute creatively to our content development.

Key Responsibilities

* Edit video and audio content for various digital platforms, including social media, websites, and promotional materials.
* Collaborate closely with the production and creative teams to understand project requirements and editorial vision.
* Select and assemble the most effective footage and audio based on scripts, storyboards, and project briefs.
* Incorporate graphics, music, sound effects, and other audio-visual elements to enhance the final product.
* Ensure consistency in visual style, tone, and branding across all edited content.
* Perform color correction and grading to achieve desired visual aesthetics.
* Manage and organize digital assets, ensuring efficient workflow and easy retrieval.
* Stay abreast of emerging digital editing trends and technologies, and proactively suggest innovative approaches.

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Digital Editor or in a similar post-production role.
* Proficiency in professional video editing software such as Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or Final Cut Pro.
* Strong understanding of video and audio formats, codecs, and delivery specifications for various digital platforms.
* Excellent storytelling and pacing abilities, with a critical eye for detail and quality.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
* A strong portfolio showcasing a range of digital editing projects.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to receive and provide constructive feedback.
