Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Truck Driver to join our team, responsible for transporting aggregate materials and equipment to and from construction sites in a safe and efficient manner. The successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with our logistics and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of our services. With a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction, the Truck Driver will play a critical role in representing our company and upholding our values of safety, reliability, and exceptional service. As a key member of our team, the Truck Driver will be required to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, to meet the demands of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate company-owned trucks in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
* Transport aggregate materials and equipment to and from construction sites, ensuring timely and efficient delivery
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including trip logs and cargo manifests
* Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise
* Provide excellent customer service, representing the company in a professional and courteous manner
* Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as checking oil and tire pressure, to ensure the truck is in good working condition
* Report any accidents or incidents to management, completing all necessary paperwork and cooperating with investigations
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years of experience as a truck driver, preferably in the construction or logistics industry
* Valid driver’s license and any other relevant certifications or permits
* Excellent driving record, with no major accidents or incidents
* Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations, as well as safety procedures and protocols
* Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team
* Good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact with clients and colleagues in a professional manner
* Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects, as well as work in a variety of weather conditions
