The Basic Science Teacher involves planning and delivering engaging science lessons for pupils while supporting both individual and group learning. Key Responsibilities

As part of this Basic Science Teacher Job in Abuja, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties

• Facilitate engaging learning activities for individuals or groups of pupils during physical or online classes
• Prepare and implement suitable lesson plans for weekday school sessions and Saturday learning activities at the center
• Encourage pupils to participate in productive activities such as reading, writing, and speaking
• Assist students in using learning resources including information technology tools
• Maintain pupils’ interest and motivation during lessons
• Support the implementation of individual education plans where necessary
• Track pupils’ academic progress, challenges, and achievements and report to the Educational Director
• Build constructive relationships with pupils while addressing their individual learning needs
• Provide guidance and feedback to students regarding their academic progress and performance
• Monitor pupils’ responses to learning activities and record progress as directed by the school
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding pupils’ progress, achievements, and areas needing improvement
• Participate in professional training sessions and other development activities organized by the school

Requirements and Qualifications

• National Certificate in Education NCE in a relevant field
