Customer Service Representative – Role Overview

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) will act as the primary point of contact between Goonite Hygiene, its customers, distributors, and sales teams. The role focuses on providing exceptional service, managing inquiries and orders, resolving complaints, and supporting sales operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer, distributor, and retailer inquiries via phone, email, and messaging platforms.
  • Handle complaints and product-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and feedback.
  • Maintain a professional and positive brand image in all interactions.
  • Receive, process, and track customer and distributor orders accurately.
  • Coordinate with sales, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.
  • Follow up on pending orders, deliveries, and backlogs.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, complaints, and resolutions.
  • Update customer databases and ensure proper documentation for all transactions.
  • Prepare daily and weekly customer service reports.
  • Support the sales team with order status updates, stock availability, and customer feedback.
  • Assist in managing distributor relationships by providing timely information and support.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate department.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, service standards, and hygiene product handling guidelines.
  • Collect customer feedback and share insights for service and product improvement.
  • Manage distribution of promotional materials, samples, and key documents including price lists and request forms.
  • Support supervision of loading activities and related logistics.

Qualifications and Requirements

Essential:

  • HND or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Mass Communication, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing.
  • Experience handling distributors or trade customers is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic computer skills including MS Excel and email.
  • Customer-focused, team-oriented mindset.
  • Age range: 25–30 years.
  • Must reside within Ibeju-Lekki and surrounding areas.
