1. Pastry Chef (Expert in Baking, Desserts & Cake Artistry)
Overview
- Type: Full-Time
- Location: Lagos, Nigeria
- Qualification: BA/BSc/HND or relevant culinary certification
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare a wide range of pastries, desserts, breads, and cakes meeting hotel standards
- Design and execute custom cakes and artistic dessert presentations for events and banquets
- Develop new dessert recipes and refine existing offerings to enhance guest experience
- Maintain consistent quality, portion control, and attractive presentation
- Supervise junior pastry staff and train kitchen assistants
- Manage inventory efficiently to minimize waste
- Ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a reputable hotel, restaurant, or bakery
- Expertise in baking, desserts, and cake artistry
- Knowledge of modern pastry techniques and trends
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Culinary certification or relevant professional qualification is an advantage
2. Continental Chef (Lebanese Cuisine)
Overview
- Type: Full-Time
- Location: Lagos, Nigeria
- Qualification: BA/BSc/HND or relevant culinary training
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present authentic Lebanese and continental dishes
- Maintain high standards of taste, quality, and presentation
- Assist in menu planning and development of new dishes
- Monitor kitchen operations to ensure efficient workflow and timely service
- Train and mentor kitchen staff in Lebanese cooking techniques
- Control food costs and manage inventory efficiently
- Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Lebanese or Continental Chef in a reputable establishment
- Strong knowledge of authentic Lebanese recipes and cooking techniques
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hotel kitchen environment
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and time management skills
- Culinary training or professional certification is a plus
3. Sous Chef (Experienced in Continental Cuisines)
Overview
- Type: Full-Time
- Location: Lagos, Nigeria
- Qualification: BA/BSc/HND or relevant culinary certification
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations
- Ensure all dishes are prepared to approved recipes and quality standards
- Supervise kitchen staff and maintain smooth workflow during service
- Support menu planning, costing, and inventory control
- Uphold food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
- Step in for the Head Chef when required to ensure uninterrupted kitchen operations
- Train, coach, and motivate kitchen team members
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef in a reputable hotel or restaurant
- Strong background in continental cuisines
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Relevant culinary qualification or professional certification is an advantage
