Our venture capital firm operates an in-house venture studio dedicated to building zero-to-one startups across AI, BioHealth, and B2B SaaS. We’re looking for an Applied AI Engineer who thrives in early-stage environments — someone who can help validate ideas quickly, build reliable AI products, and iterate fast across multiple ventures.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and ship AI-powered features across new products and internal tools
- Use prompting, RAG, agents, and modern AI tooling to optimize system performance
- Rapidly prototype concepts to test market fit and technical feasibility
- Build evaluation pipelines to improve accuracy, safety, and reliability
- Work across the stack — dashboards, APIs, data pipelines, and backend services
What You’ll Bring
- Strong programming experience with Python
- Hands-on work with AI/ML libraries and APIs (LangChain, Hugging Face, PyTorch, OpenAI, etc.)
- Solid backend knowledge: databases, caching, microservices, integrations
- Ability to prototype lightweight frontends when needed
- Experience in startup environments or creating products from scratch
- Clear communication skills in a remote, collaborative team
Bonus
- Experience with evaluation frameworks, vector databases, or production-grade ML systems
