Job Overview
The Van Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales and ensuring product availability within assigned territories. This role involves direct customer engagement, order taking, and efficient delivery of goods using company vehicles, contributing significantly to MCPL's market presence and revenue growth.Key Responsibilities
- Generate sales by actively promoting and selling MCPL products to retailers and end-users.
- Manage and maintain assigned sales routes, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
- Accurately process orders, collect payments, and manage cash on delivery.
- Maintain stock levels within the van, ensuring product freshness and quality.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with customers to foster repeat business.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to sales, safety, and vehicle operation.
Requirements
- A minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification.
- Valid Nigerian driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven sales experience, preferably in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Physical ability to lift and transport goods.
- Residency within or proximity to the assigned sales territory is advantageous.
