Job Overview
The Utility Technician will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and maintaining all utility systems and infrastructure supporting LighTech's operations. This includes overseeing electrical systems, power distribution, backup generators, and related technical equipment to ensure uninterrupted service delivery across our Abuja and Port Harcourt branches.Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain electrical systems and power distribution units
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on utility equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and utility-related issues promptly
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and system performance
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
- Coordinate with external contractors when specialized repairs are needed
Requirements
- WAEC/SSCE or equivalent qualification
- 5+ years experience in utility or electrical maintenance
- Valid electrical certifications preferred
