Job Overview
The Technologist will play a crucial role in supporting the operational efficiency and technological advancement of various departments within Nile University. - Provide technical support and maintenance for laboratory equipment, computer systems, and specialized software across various faculties.
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of technological resources for teaching, research, and administrative functions.
- Ensure the proper functioning and calibration of scientific instruments and equipment.
- Collaborate with faculty and researchers to facilitate the effective use of technology in academic pursuits.
- Maintain inventory records and manage the procurement of necessary technical supplies.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a specialized science discipline).
- Proven experience in a technical support or laboratory technologist role.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
