Job Overview
The Supply Chain Planning Manager will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing IDL’s end-to-end supply chain planning processes. This role requires a proactive approach to forecasting, inventory management, and logistics, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality dairy products across Nigeria.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain planning strategies.
- Lead demand forecasting and sales and operations planning (S&OP) processes.
- Optimize inventory levels across raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks and inefficiencies.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement improvement initiatives.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and service providers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in supply chain planning, preferably within the FMCG or dairy industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in supply chain planning software and tools.
