Job Overview
The Store Officer will be responsible for the efficient management and control of inventory within the company's warehouse facilities. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain, from the receipt of raw materials to the dispatch of finished goods, directly supporting our mission to provide high-quality animal feed.Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record all incoming materials and finished goods accurately.
- Organize and maintain the store layout for optimal accessibility and space utilization.
- Manage stock levels, conducting regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Issue materials and goods to production and relevant departments upon authorized request.
- Prepare and maintain accurate store records, including stock cards, inventory reports, and movement logs.
- Ensure adherence to all safety and security procedures within the store area.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or potential stock obsolescence.
Requirements
- Minimum of a National Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Store Officer or in a similar inventory management role.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Good understanding of warehouse operations and best practices.
