Job Overview
PG Consulting Limited is looking to hire a meticulous and proficient Steel Structural Detailer to be based at our Amuwo-Odofin, Lagos office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the accurate creation of detailed steel fabrication and erection drawings from structural engineering designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret structural engineering drawings and specifications.
- Generate detailed shop drawings, erection drawings, and bill of materials using specialized software.
- Ensure all drawings comply with relevant industry standards and project requirements.
- Coordinate with engineers and project managers to resolve design queries and discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and revision control.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in detailing steel structures.
- Proficiency in structural detailing software (e.g., Tekla Structures, AutoCAD).
- Strong understanding of steel fabrication processes and construction methods.
